Four raids were carried out by Sri Lanka Air Force targeting terrorist gathering points in the Killinochchi District yesterday states Media Centre for National Security (MCNS).
One raid targeted a point 2 km northwest to Akkrayankulam at about 1.00 p.m. yesterday using M.I. 24 helicopters. Another point 3 km north of Akkrayankulam was raided at 12.00 noon using fighter jets.
Jet fighters were also deployed to attack two other tiger gathering points at northwest of Nachchikuda and east of Kokawil.
